Endometrium with adipose tissue

Time to start looking at adipose tissue (tissue containing adipose cells / fat cells). The image on the left shows a pice of tissue from the uterine cavity and some fatty tissue. Don't worry too much about the purple swirly bits or pink lumps on the far left of the image, but instead look at the white empty circles surrounded by a thin purple line in the centre and on the right hand side of the image. These circles are fat cells, or adipose cells.
