Axons and perineurium of the ischiadic nerve (600X)

The section is particularly well suited to identify thick (myelinated nerve fibers) and thin unmyelinated axons (unmyelinated nerve fibers), perineurium and capillaries inside the fascicles.

The thin myelinated axons are labeled with green arrows, the thick ones with red arrows.
