Hair cells of the organ of Corti are the sensory receptors of auditory system in the ears. Through mechanotransduction, hair cells detect movement in their environment.

Try to identify:

  • the tectorial membrane
  • scala tympani
  • scala vestibuli
  • the cochlear duct
  • the vestibular membrane
  • the basilar membrane
  • hair cells on the basilar membrane
