This is a closeup of the tunica muscularis of the colon. Notice the cirkular and the longitudinal layer. The longitudinal muscle layer seen here is one of three longitudinally running taeniae coli.

Inbetween the muscle layers, a lighter pink layer is seen. This is nervous tissue and part of the plexus myentericus.
