Ameloblasts and odontoblasts (600X)
At the highest magnification you can even see the odontoblasts. They're surrounded by a blue layer which is the predentine. The dentine stains pale red in this section. The dentine is easily identified by its dentinal tubules. Surrounding the dentine, there is a thin layer of enamel. This layer is again surrounded by a layer of ameloblasts. The white zone between the dentin and the enamel is just an artifact meaning that it is an structure not usually present in vivo but accidentally created when the tissue was prepared for sectioning.
The stratum intermedium is comprised of epithelial cells. Both the inner dental epithelium (ameloblasts) and the stratum intermedium are responible for the development of the enamel.
