At the highest magnification, you'll see (from the pulp and outwards):

  • the cell rich zone
  • the cell free zone of Weil
  • the odontoblast layer
  • the predentine (with globules of mineralizing dentine and dentinal tubules)
  • the dentine with dentinal tubules
