The gallbladder, also known as the cholecyst, is a small hollow organ where bile is stored and concentrated before it is released into the small intestine.
This image is a cross section of it's wall. try to identify the following:
- the luminal side of the gall bladder (the surface facing inwards)
- the mucosa (tunica mucosa)
- the muscular layer (tunica muscularis)
- the subserosa
